Squiggle: Terms & Conditions of Sale

Available only to individuals

Your are limited to one specific design per purchase. However, you can order up to three Squiggles of the same design before checking out.

Shipping limitations

Similarly, due to the unique nature of the Squiggle, they cannot be shipped to businesses, institution addresses or PO Boxes.

Minor adjustments to your design

While the checking algorithm does its best to prevent unmanufacturable designs due to strength or long, unsupported sections, some might slip past its checks. Depending on your design, there might be some minor changes made to fix this, such as an overall thickening of the Squiggle.

Discount

Each design purchased will include a discount code sent via email, which you can use for a future purchase in the Objects of Slow Data catalogue. While discount codes are transferable (i.e. anyone with the code can use it), they are a one-time redemption: once used, the code will be consumed.

Further details on the discount will be announced when the Objects of Slow Data catalogue is launched.

Don't be evil

Squiggles with vulgar, socially unacceptable symbols or other suggestive forms that undermine or villify other individuals or groups will not be tolerated. These orders will be refunded and reported for harassment and abuse.

Fraud prevention and conduct

Slow Things may hold, decline or cancel an order before dispatch if there is reasonable suspicion it is fraudulent or unauthorised (for example, a payment flagged by my payment provider, or billing and delivery details that cannot be reconciled or verified after asking), or if the customer has been abusive, threatening or harassing. Slow Things may ask you to confirm your details before making or dispatching your order. If an order is cancelled, Slow Things will tell you promptly and refund everything paid, including shipping and any optional contribution. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
